Scotland Isles Fine Art Landscape Photography Prints

A collection of images exploring a long-standing theme in my work, water and islands. To me, water brings energy to any image: through its innate movement; the necessity of water for life itself; its ability to transform landscapes. These are some of my favourite images in my collection of fine art black and white and colour prints. Water also has the capacity to evoke emotion in the viewer. I have used a variety of photographic methods to capture both the feeling of power and serenity that water can offer. Black and white is particularly suited to image making with water as it offers scenes with incredible depth and contrast while colour brings emotive energy and dynamism. Many of these photographs are from the Isle of Harris, one of my favourite locations, but I have also ventured throughout the Hebrides making images.
