How do I make my fine art prints? I print fine art paper prints myself and work with some of the best printers in the world to provide larger sizes and mounting options. All of my prints start as paper prints which are then mounted in different methods: acrylic, laminated aluminium di-bond metal, or fine art paper pigment prints which you can take to your local framer. Acrylic and Metal prints are delivered ready to hang. They are offered at a range of sizes from 11” x 14” all the way up to 48” x 72” (larger sizes may be available on special request). All of my print offerings are fully customisable to suit your needs.
Why should you purchase a print? The benefits of spending time in nature are now widely recognised; purchasing one of my works of art is an opportunity to bring a small piece of nature into your home or office space. My photos are largely intended to create an emotional response from the viewer, often times that of calm, and to connect you with nature. Additionally:
Only the highest quality mediums with robust archival qualities and longevity
The richness of paper printing is akin to traditional black and white darkroom methods
Acrylic and metal prints are ready to hang, which reduces end costs and provides ease of installation
Options for all different spaces and settings
Chosen materials present my work at its best
Modern presentation will enhance the design of your space

Acrylic Fine Art Prints
These landscape photographs are fine art paper prints mounted to a 3 mm (1/8 in.) Di-bond composite plate made of two aluminium layers and a polyethylene core. They are subsequently placed behind matte acrylic which reduces glare and reflections in order to provide the very best viewing experience even in tricky lighting scenarios. The fine art papers used bring deep contrast, neutral greys, fade protection, high fidelity, and continuous tones with extraordinary depth. They are very lightweight and provide reliable stability ensuring no warping or bubbling of the prints. They come with preinstalled hanging hardware regardless of the format or size.

Aluminium Dibond Metal Prints
This popular method of printing offers a very high quality piece of art while keeping overall costs down. These prints are made using Canson fine art photo papers which are then mounted on a 3mm aluminium Dibond backing. The paper is left uncovered for the ultimate viewing experience. The fine art papers brings deep contrast, neutral greys, fade protection, high fidelity, and continuous tones and depth. They come with preinstalled hanging hardware regardless of the format or size.
Fine Art Paper Prints
While only available in smaller sizes, this is my favourite way to display my work. These prints are made using heavyweight Canson fine art papers, renowned as some of the highest quality papers worldwide. I only use papers which are 100% cotton, acid and OBA free, incredibly detailed, and achieve very high levels of D-max (dynamic range). The fine art papers reveal a beautiful yet subtle texture, and for black and white work, a lustre finish that provides depth and a 3D feel akin to that of traditional wet black and white prints. Colour images are printed on stunningly textured matte papers. Fine art paper prints are shipped in a tube ready to go directly to your framer of choice. Unfortunately, I cannot replace artwork that has been damaged due to poor handling upon receipt.
For all my fine art paper prints, I work directly with my friend Lewis Oldham who runs one of the best print labs in England, Hatter Editions, to provide the highest possible quality product using pigment inks.
Lighting
The number one issue faced by clients is correctly lighting prints. The lighting for your prints should therefore be highly considered. I recommend the following: a set of high CRI LED track lights with a temperature rating between 3000k and 4000k shining at a 30 degree angle from above. The colour of your walls and ambient lighting conditions will determine the power of lighting required. The lighting should be far enough away so as to provide relatively even lighting across the entire print. The lights should not be placed too close so as to avoid heat damage - if you can feel warmth with your hand, the lights are too close. Additionally, prints should never get direct sunlight as this will degrade the image even with UV protection. Fluorescent lighting should be avoided at all costs as they emit high levels of UV radiation which will degrade the print.
