Group Image Critiques
Join Murray Livingston and Brad Carr for a group image critique, as we review your images and those of your peers over the course of an evening. This service is inspired by a need for proper feedback to improve our photography, ways of thinking, and creativity. Murray has many years of providing feedback to world renowned photographers and Brad is a longstanding creative coach. Join for a ~3hr session to discuss up to 5 of your photographs in detailed in a positive group setting. Our goal is always to inspire confidence, and so this space will be one where we can all share our honest feedback and grow together.
You will not only gain advice on your own photography but learn from the work of others too. This group setting also reduces the fear of judgment some artists feel when sharing their work — everyone is going through the process together. The hope is that you will gain insight into not only your own work, but also from the work of others who will likely be photographing different subjects and in different styles. I’m excited to be collaborating with Brad Carr for this review, who brings his own unique philosophy and creative vision to the table.
Sessions are recorded via zoom. Full payment is due to book your place. After booking, you will receive an email with instructions on how to prepare your files for the critique.

Curious about what a critique session might looks like? Murray has published a number of critiques with award-winning photographers on his YouTube channel as well as provided written image and project reviews for various magazines, such as OnLandscape (End Frame) and Nature Vision Magazine (Issue #4). Brad has coached numerous clients on their photography, creativity, and spiritual connection to the landscape.
Murray has a background in Architecture where critique was an essential weekly tool used to move forward with our work. He would often lead sessions with undergraduate students to assess their work. In a photography critique, you will learn both successes and working points, key take-aways, overarching themes, areas to improve on, in the field and/or editing techniques, etc.
All you need is an email address, internet connection, and to speak English! We will go through your each of your images and have a healthy discussion to see where you can do better.
