I am consistently drawn back to the mountains. My photographs capture the character of these beautiful mountain landscapes through a deep understanding of their geology and relationship to time. Being in the mountains seems to distill down the world’s complexities into something simple: they have existed on a scale of time that is almost incomprehensible, and will continue to exist well beyond our own life. The feeling of existential awe this creates when stood below or at their summit is unmatched. The fine art mountain prints available in the gallery are from all over the world, including Scotland, South Africa, and Iceland.
